Our ready made wooden blinds come unfinished. So you can shorten the blind to the required drop you need. As most windows are not a 130/180 cm drop. Made to measure wooden blinds are finished to the exact drop you specify in your order.

Once you have hung your wooden blind at the window you can then shorten it to the drop you want.

First un-knot the draw strings running out of the bottom of the slats and wooden bottom bar. Now you can remove any wood slats if you need to.

Place the wooden bottom bar in the desired position on the ladder strings (under the last slat).
Take out plastic plugs in the wooden bottom bar (this is the bottom side)
Thread draw strings through the wooden bottom bar and plugs.

You can now cut off the excess ladder cords but you should cut them off at least one ladder lower than the wooden bottom bar so you can tuck the excess into the holes where the plugs go. Leaving the blind hanging nice and neat on or off the window sill.
